Copyright & DMCA Policy
Last updated: July 11, 2026
1. Use only content you have the rights to
ShortVideos.to is a tool for repurposing video content that you own or are authorized to use — for example, your own uploads, recordings, or content you have a licence or permission to use, or use that is otherwise lawful (such as fair use). Before analyzing a video or generating a clip, you must confirm that you have these rights. Submitting content you are not authorized to use is a violation of these terms and may be copyright infringement.
2. Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for the content you submit and for how you use the clips you create. ShortVideos.to does not host a public content library and does not publish or redistribute your clips — outputs are private to your account and delivered to you for your own use. We do not review submissions in advance and take no position on the rights status of any particular video.
3. Filing a copyright takedown notice
If you believe content processed through ShortVideos.to infringes your copyright, send a written notice to copyright@shortvideos.to including:
- Your name, address, and contact information.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material at issue and enough information for us to locate it (e.g. the video URL or the account/email involved).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
4. Counter-notice
If you believe your content was removed or your access was restricted in error, you may send a counter-notice to the same address with your contact information, identification of the material, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
5. Repeat-infringer policy
We will suspend or terminate, without notice, the accounts of users who are the subject of repeated or credible copyright complaints, or who we determine are misusing the service to process content they are not authorized to use.
