ShortVideos.to Terms of Service

ShortVideos.to ("the Service") is operated by ShortVideo ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

ShortVideos.to is an AI-powered tool that analyzes YouTube videos or your own uploaded videos and generates vertical short-video clips with captions. You can optionally publish a clip to a public share page that appears in a community feed, or share clips directly to TikTok. The Service is provided "as is" for lawful purposes only.

• You may use the Service without an account (limited to local history and free-tier rendering).
• Signing in with Google enables server-side history, saved clips, and higher usage limits.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Google account credentials.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

You agree to only submit, upload, or process videos you own or have the necessary rights, licences, or permissions to use, and to confirm this before each analysis or clip generation. You are solely responsible for the files you upload and for any clip you publish publicly or share to third-party platforms including TikTok. You agree not to:

• Upload, process, publish, or distribute content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights (see our Copyright & DMCA Policy).
• Publish or share content that is unlawful, deceptive, hateful, sexually explicit, or that impersonates others.
• Use the Service for spam, harassment, or any illegal purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, abuse, or disrupt the Service.
• Circumvent usage limits or access controls.

• Your content: You retain all rights to the videos you submit or upload and the clips you generate.
• Public sharing: When you create a public share link for a clip, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, and display that clip, its thumbnail, title, and your display name on its public page and in the community feed — until you or we remove it. You confirm you have the rights to make it public.
• Moderation & reporting: Anyone can report content through the in-app report tool. We may review, remove, or disable access to any clip, upload, or public page — and suspend accounts — that we believe violates these Terms or the law, with or without notice.
• Our IP: The Service, its branding, and its underlying technology are owned by ShortVideos.to.
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to clip, publish, and republish any source material.

• The free tier includes a limited number of clip generations per month (currently 3), and free-tier clips include a "shortvideos.to" watermark.
• Paid plans (Starter and Pro) remove the watermark and raise your monthly clip limit. Current plans and prices are shown on our Pricing page.
• Usage limits reset at the start of each calendar month and do not roll over.
• Plans, features, and prices may change at any time. We will notify subscribers of material changes; changes to recurring prices take effect at your next renewal.

• Payment processor: Payments are processed securely by PayPal. You can pay with your PayPal balance or any major debit/credit card. Your purchase is also subject to PayPal's User Agreement in addition to these Terms. We do not receive or store your full card details.
• Recurring billing: Paid plans are subscriptions that renew automatically each billing period (monthly or annually) at the then-current price until cancelled. By subscribing, you authorize PayPal to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis.
• Taxes: Prices are shown exclusive of tax. Where we are required to charge sales tax or VAT, it may be added based on your location; you are otherwise responsible for any taxes applicable to your purchase.
• Cancellation: You may cancel at any time from Plans & billing, or from the Automatic Payments section of your PayPal account. On cancellation, your plan remains active until the end of the current paid period and is not renewed thereafter.
• Failed payments: If a renewal payment fails, we may retry the charge and/or downgrade your account to the free tier until payment succeeds.

• We want you to be satisfied. If you are unhappy with a paid plan, contact us at support@shortvideos.to within 14 days of your initial purchase or renewal for a full refund.
• Because clip generation consumes compute resources, refunds may be declined or prorated where a substantial portion of the plan's monthly clip allowance has already been used.
• Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via PayPal.
• Statutory rights to cancel or obtain a refund (for example, EU/UK consumer withdrawal rights) are unaffected by this policy.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

In no event shall ShortVideos.to be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

We may terminate or suspend your access at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, third parties, or the Service itself. Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
